Adam Torres Senior Recital - Adam Torres brings an unforgettable evening of music to the CJC for his senior recital, where he will take you on a journey through his original compositions blending elements of jazz and romantic era/classical music. He will showcase a beautiful and unique blend of the genres with compositional influences ranging from Thelonious Monk and Miles Davis, to Remy LeBoeuf and Tivon Pennicott, to Frederic Chopin and Claude Debussy. From the emotive melodies of the romantic era to the rhythmic vitality of jazz and the structural elegance of classical forms, each piece brings a new form of expression to enjoy. Erik Jekabson Tentet Little Big Band - Come and listen to the wonderful sounds of the big band era harmonized for tentet. Led by Erik Jekabson, Bay Area all-star trumpeter, composer, and bandleader, the band will bring a night of jazz from swing to modern.

CJC Blue Ensemble Concert - The Blue Ensemble is the California Jazz Conservatory's flagship ensemble. After recently recording an album of original music in Valencia, Spain, they bring you music they've been studying from various contemporary composers such as Chris Lightcap, Jeremy Pelt, and Oliver Lake. Don't miss this FREE event!
